Fee
Registrations for the North Queensland Games are made up of two fees:
1. NQ Games Fee – gives you entry into the games and collect your game kit and lanyard ($33 Inc GST)
2. Sports/Nomination Fee – gives you entry into your sport disciplines (price dependent on sport and the number of disciplines entered: 4-9 years old – $30 unlimited events and 10+ years old $15 per event and payable to Athletics North Queensland).
PRIZE MONEY RACE
56 OLYMPIC TORCHBEARERS CLUB – 1500m
• This is an historic event commemorating the 1956 Olympic Torch Relay, involving 2800 athletes each running one mile.
• With a purse of $2000 for the Open Men and Women 1500m. Athletes 14yrs to Masters are eligible to compete in this event.
• Nominations are through the NQ Games and ANQ Event portal as per below.
• The 1956 Olympic Torch Relay started from Cairns with the first torchbearer to leave Cairns Con Verevis and the second Torchbearer was Anthony Mark from the Mitchell River Mission on the west coast of Cape York.

To register for Athletics there are two booking systems that you will need to register on:
1. NQ Games registration site – once you pay the Games Registration Fee please go to Athletics North Queensland website
2. Athletics North Queensland nomination site – to pay for your Sports/ Nomination Fees go to Athletics NQ to enter your Athletic disciplines.
