The 2018 Mackay City Auto Group NQ Games consisted of 29 sports, and for the first time the Queensland Government held a Sport & Recreation conference alongside The Games.
This edition of The Games was heavily supported by a wonderful team at Mackay Regional Council and featured a number of Olympic Gold Medalists as ambassadors and support staff including Linda Single, Tracey Belbin and Jon Sieven. The Opening Ceremony was accompanied by fireworks at Harrup Park Country Club and saw approximately 3000 people turnout.
Feature events of the NQ Games include nearly 900 particpants in Netball, 170 BMX Bike Riders, and a State Fishing Title.
